Agree with Japiey it is pure fantasy , indeed a castle in Fantasyland. Appears like a HDR gone over the board . It is impressive definition wise and effective as a post-processed picture but it is stunning nevertheless and i certainly like what you have done and come out with ,experimenting can yield interesting results! Bravo my friend ,

I am guessing you changed the sky, and oversharpened the castle and trees as you have a halo around it which is probably what you were aiming for. It looks like a fantasy out of disney world.

dear Liliana,
this PC edition shows both the illusionary figure of the castle and your feeling about the human construction in natural forest and sky.
all the mountain castles were build on the top for hard guard and standing on its dignity, but now those all are in the history and tale, its risky shape changed to the fantasy. in my feeling, this your shot shows us this changing itself holding the thrilling past pain.
and therefor your feeling looks like concentrating the time of human bloody history and the surrounding generous nature.
this enhanced contrast in the image of the sky and the wood stimulates my imagination about strange calmness in dramatic flow of historical time.
I also feel same mood at Japanese mountain castles too.

Hello Liliana !

Children story illustration, or a typical illustration you can buy on the streets using this post processing technique.

Cool works with these saturated colors and boosting the dark tones.

Personnal ideas;
1) To avoid the white halos, you could have reproduced the surroundings with the stamp tool over them. The image would look a bit more natural. To do it, increase your original image by at least 300% before doing it, for a more accurate job . Once job completed , resize to TL size.
2) Strange optical illusion; The image seems tilted to the left. However the constructions and trees are well leveled.

At first I thought, what an overprocessed tacky picture!
But the sky disarmed me. How could I criticise Disney? A fairy-tale? Can't. All I can is just admire from a distance and walk past carefully so that not to wake up the dwarfs.

Reminds me of a movie scene from an animated movie - clouds boiling in the BG as the dragon moves in. Your estensive PP work is very effective.
