The monument loooks huge but in reality it is very little to compensate for all those lost lives. Very good composition, monochrome suits the mood of all this symmetry giving it a very cold look.

This is almost "cubism", Adastro ☺^☺.
I like the geometrical shapes, enhanced by the light on them. I saw some pics of the memorial on te & tl, this one is among the more original, definitely.

to tell you the truth Romeu i don't know how to comment image like this.. :) all i can see are lots of concrete pillars like a gravestones that abstract like.. beautiful? not really in my eyes.. sorry maybe im not artistic enough.. hehehe..

but to remember the past history victims that were murdered yes.. very heart wrenching and maybe go there and see it for myself probably would make me cry..

you should put more on the note.. :D tfs..

isn't it funny - I have take almost the exact same picture with my Leica, from the same perspective...
I also found this place impressive and sad at the same time - in a way it's a good thing the Germans keep remembering their past mistakes, on the other hand there's no amount of concrete or stone that can teach new generations to respect diversity.
