[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Last weekend I came across an old water mill and I took some photos of it.
In former times water mills were as usual as wind mills in this part of northern Germany. Any of these mills were used to grind the grain.
There are still some left that do work.

Although this mill is still working, on the day I passed it, the wheels unfortunately stood still. There were only small puddles left on the wheel's paddles.

This is a detail of the water mill's big wheel which used to keep the gears driving.

pp: I changed the colour into duo chrome, because the actual colours looked shabby.

Hi Heike,
So it seems...
I would love to see the original one...Sometimes shabby, rusty items are also attractive from a photographic point of view! TFS, Marta
