Way through the moor
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a path built some years ago through the Huvenhoopsmoor near Gnarrenburg in northern Germany.
Everyone knows that it is dangerous to walk through a moor. But the moors are destroyed and many people nowadays even don't know how a moor looks like. That is why this path was invented. Along the way are many information boards, telling the visitor nearly everything that there is to know about how a moor grows, what kinds of animals and insects live there and how moors were used up to the last century.
This part of the path is made of wood of birches and makes it possible to cross a very wet - and therefore dangerous - part of the moor.
I lay flat on the path to get this perspective.
As always any comments and critiques are appreciated.

Hello, Britta -
Nice composition with a great POV from ground level. Sharp details of the wooden path and grasses on each side. The image creates a mood of anticipation for the journey down the path. Well done.

Hello Britta
Nice low pov... I love the look of the old wood as the grass taking over the walkway!
