Hello Friends.
There is always light at the end of a tunnel, right ?
This picture I took while going out of the "Schloss Neuschwanstein", through the 'segret' tunnel, King Ludwig used to escape the Castle for a swim in the "Schwansee" (Swanlake) haha.
Took it without stopped walking as you can see at the wall.
Have a nice day. Dont stop for everything.
Jan

You HOPE there is always light at the end of a tunnel. . .
So the king used to sneak out of the castle here. No electricity back in his days either - it must have been dark. But I suppose he had many men at his command to light the way for him.

yes there is always light at the end of tunnel.. lovely tunnel shot, Jan.. not so scary as the paint is in white..

regards, terry

Not an empty tunnel. Fantastic! The shape and texture of the walls, the pattern on the floor that move my eyes from the front to the end, that soft green color, and the lighting are great. Gracias!

Hello Jan
Unusual in your galery this more «dark» atmosperes, but very beautiful and very well captured. Excelent sharpness and light capture and a great compo. It's strong, it's poetic (specialy the people in contrast wityh the light at the end) and it's a very beautiful and nostalgic work full of mood. Congrats my friend, is a great posting.

PS 1: I don't resist to see it in «my way» I hope you like it.
PS 2: The true is that after doing the «ws» I've to admit that I prefer your original posting. Hope you forgive me the bad work, mb.

Hans

Hi Jan, Good to see this rather elaborate secret passge. It is certainly an amazing castle. So rich, but he died young around 35 i think. Maybe drowned in the lake? TFS. Murray.
