| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
One of our neighbours opened kind of a snack bar in northern Germany. He serves gastronomic specialities from northern Germany and from Franken - a part of the Bavarian State - there.
In the middle of September he had a special day when he only offered meals from Franken. Just to name a few: Haxen (knuckle of meat), Weißwurst (Bavarian veal sausage) and Brezeln (pretzels).
After taking photos of our neighbour, his guests and family my flatmate and I started taking photos of the meals and the equipment. And this is one of my tries to get a close look at the food. It is just a pretzel, it was delicious and I liked it with its warm natural colours in a basket with a red napkin.
For the pp: cropped the image, adjusted sharpness a bit, added frames. For the translucent frame I used a filter called "Gausscher Weichzeichner", a softening filter. After that I changed the brightness of that frame and added a small black border.

Hmmm - lecker!
Hallo Britta,
essen und trinken geht immer - wenns gut ist. So, da esst ihr Nordlichter zu hause also echt fränkische Laugenbretzel und bayrische Weißwürschte. Ich fahr nächstes WE für ein paar Tage ins Allgäu und werde mich den dortigen Ureinwohnern anpassen - Bier trinken, Weißwürscht essen - und das schon zum Frühstück. (brrrrrr.....)
Zum Bild - nicht schlecht für ein Makro. Schöner Kontrast mit dem Salz und natürliche Farben.
