MISTY LIGHT
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
When I had my first digital some years ago, I often suffered from burned out - bright white spots in deep yellow and red areas of my shots. At this time I blamed it on cheap lenses and technical camera errors.
Now I am two steps ahead with lenses and camera and there are still some shots that show white spots in areas where the sunlight is reflecting in a certain angle from deep coloured surfaces. Don't know if this is still the same technical cause but it spoiled a lot of really nice exposures - like this one here.
Is there anybody who can explain what is wrong? |

Hi Macro!
Amazing capture. Original work. Good colors. Very good focus.
Cheers!
Thomas,
Difficult to say what is wrong. I think it is more a fact of light refracting and reflecting into the lens. You can see the circles/shapes of the focal blades in the lens.
Also, the dynamic range of the "white" light could be causing it.
You could try an HDR technique (High Dynamic Range) and see what happens.
By the way, a lovely, sharp photo.
Regards
Dennis
