old door bar
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
As I visited an open air museum that shows historical daily life (Kiekeberg) near the city of Hamburg in Northern Germany, I came across this old door bar in one of the rebuilt cottages. I liked the look of it as the door was only partly enlightened by the sun. I tried my best to capture that rusty old bar but as I saw it on my computer screen, I had to realise that the orange rusty colour was not captured by the camera as rich as I saw it then. Therefore I decided to work with layers in order to achieve the colours I'd seen.
PP:
Cropped the picture slightly and then chose a layer in which I enriched the orange of the bar. Then I combined the two layers again. Afterwards I only added the frames.
Thanks for having a look. Any critiques, comments and advice are absolutely welcome.
have a nice weekend,
