| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
On the left side you can see part of the old Harburg bridge across the river Elbe. It was built in 1899 and was used for horse carriages. The bridge was restored and is now open for pedestrians only.
On the left side you can see the bridge that replaced the old one in 1937.
Besides, there is a third bridge hiding behind the left one which is for the motorway.
I liked the contrast of the old and the newer one.
I actually thought that it was very much younger when I saw it. But research told me otherwise. :)
PP: Cropped slightly and changed to grey scale. Adjusted contrast and light. Added frame.

Hallo Heike.
dies hier ist mir glatt entgangen. Interessante Kombination zwischen Klotz und Filigran. Du schreibst zweimal über die linke Brücke, aber ich nehme an das filigrane Teil ist made in 1899. SW kommt hier extrem gut. Rein Fototechnisch hätte ich versucht die rechte Brücke mehr ins Bild zu bringen Sonst gefällt mir das Bild sehr gut. Klasse gemacht.
