[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On a really cold winter day two of my friends and I went to one of my favourite places in northern Germany. I had my camera with me and tried to take photos of the gulls everywhere around us. I didn't know how fast they can move!

This is the best I can come up with. The wings aren't sharp because the bird was about to land and flapped its wings very fast.

As you can see and tell by the ISO number the sun was setting and so I had to work with layers to bring out some of the structures of the feathering and still be able to keep the darkening sky.

Hallo Britta,
Jo - ich war so frustriert, dass ich wirklich keine Lust mhr hatte, mich auf die Spielchen einiger, die TL hier wohl eher nicht als Photographie Forum verstehen einzulassen und auch keine meiner Bilder neben deren kleinkarierten Kuriositäten plaziert haben wollte.
Es ist halt wie im richtigen Leben - man kann es sich im Normalfall nicht aussuchen und muss damit zurechtkommen.
Zu deinem Bild der startenden Möve. Für das bißchen Licht am 26.12. und die formatfüllende Abbildung des eleganten Vogels ist die Bildqualität eigentlich nicht schlecht. Für meinen Geschmack fehlt etwas Schärfe und Kontrast, aber dadurch, dass der linke Fuß etwas in den Rahmen hineinragt bekommt das ganze einen fast dreidimensionalen Touch. Der ausgestreckte Flügel gibt eine nette Diagonale.
Gut gesehen.
