ladybug invasion I

Hi,
I only wanted to have a nice fish sandwich at the "Lüheanleger" (a small pier for ferries to Hamburg, Northern Germany) yesterday. As I arrived at the parking lot, I was surprised how many insects were swirling around. When I got out of the car, I realized that it was a swarm of ladybugs. The air was full of them! And I'm not exaggerating to say it must have been thousands. There are a couple of kiosks there and everything around them was full with bugs. They were flying and crawling everywhere. The meadows were full with tiny red dots, the ground was already full of trampled down bugs.
I've never seen something alike before. The image gives just an impression of how crowded the blades of grass were.
What an invasion! ;)
not much pp this time. Just cropped, adjusted contrast and added small border.
Have a nice day, Heike |

Hello heike
Interesting image of the ladybugs. I like it, Maybe some more cropping to isolate some of the groups. Nice image.

Jimmy
Nice idea , maybe so dark .

I think this is a great shot. Very attractive to the eye because of the contrasts and the intense greens of the background. This would make a happy poster on my wall! :-)
Cheers,
