[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yesterday was quite a busy day.
First a lot of work in the garden and than a tour for taking some photos... and what do I come up with? Flowers! I really love them.

This red sunflower stood on a field full of yellow ones. It looked like an outsider. Poor sunflower! ;-)

Now that I have a new photo processing software I can run images through the post processing took a while.
First I adjusted the sky a bit to bring out the great blue tones. Than I worked on the sunflower to bring out some of the structures of the centre. This was quite difficult because this centre is very dark and I had to take this image against a very bright sky. I reduced noise and sharpened, cropped and added that border by picking a blue tone of the sky and darkening it. I know all this sounds not that difficult but I am used to a software I didn't use for this image.

Hallo Britta,

vom Objekt her eine sehr einladende Variante, aber leider kommt davon in deiner Aufnahme nicht mehr viel herüber; die Blätter an sich haben noch eine sehr schöne Farbe..aber der Innenteil der Pflanze ist für meinen Geschmack eindeutig zu dunkel geraten.. auch der Hintergrund hilft hier leider nicht wirklich weiter, auch wenns an dem Schärfeverlauf eigentlich nichts zu meckern gibt..

Sorry für meine persönliche Ansicht..

Hallo Britta,
die ist mir völlig entgangen. Sieht wirklich fast wie verbrannt aus. So eine Sonnenblume habe ich noch nie gesehen. Die Farben der Blätter sind schon ein Knaller und deine Arbeit am Blau den Himmels hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Allerdings kommt der innere Teil der Blüte auf meinem großen Schirm fast schwarz daher und schluckt einige Details. Ich schau nachher nochmal in den Laptop.
