This is a detail of an image I posted some weeks ago.
For this image I worked on the contrasts and sharpness and adjusted brightness and shadows a bit.
This is an abandoned building at the entrance to a former factory for fruit juice in Buxtehude, northern Germany.
The factory closed its doors in 1996, since then all the buildings are turning into ruins. This gatehouse is nearly completely taken over by nature, birds are nesting inside, trees are growing inside, ivy grows through one of the side walls.

Guten Morgen Britta,
dies hier erinnert mich irgendwie an deinen 'Juice' post von vor einigen Wochen.Ist das ein Ausschnitt oder ein neues Bild? Immerhin ist die wirkung des kleineren AUschnitts doch eine ganz andere und die verschiedenen grautöne im Licht- und Schattenbereich kommen hier viel besser zur Geltung.
Ich hatte damals nach mehr Details gefragt und wollte eigentlich das ganze wirklich mal aus der Nähe sehen - einen Detailausschnitt eben.Sieht bestimmt im Herbst mit Nebel und Wassertropfen schön gruselig aus - vielleicht kommst du ja nochmal dort vorbei.
