Last year I have been to a bird's sanctuary in northern Germany, in Walsrode to be exactly.
There I saw this funny little parrot. It look like a little professor when walking around. Don't you think it looks like he is in deep thoughts?
The thing I couldn't get right about this shot was the balance between rich blue, green and red tones. Either blue and red were good, then green looked wrong or just the other way round... I decided to get some structures in blue and green feathers and gave it up on the red parts of the bird.
PP: cropped, sharpened, adjusted brightness and contrast, adjusted sharpness once again, added border, resized and sharpened.
I hope you like this little bird in its colours. Thanks for having a look. Have a great and colourful weekend. Kindest regards, Britta |

Hi, Britta,
I think this is a splendid shot! As I look at it - all the colors look fine. And they ARE rich and beautifully saturated, you have marvelous detail and I an a sucker for funny titles. This was perfect! I like the way he seems to be pacing beneath the diagonal line of the branch. Thanks for the smile and a great photo,
Shelly
