In my imagination the branches of that tree were sparkling... that effect can be achieved by excessive usm sharpening.

Critiques [Translate]

The original view (posted in WS) is only 200k, so it is not easy to make a good WS. However, I have trying a version not too noisy and not so saturated. Hope you like it.
Best regards
John

Hi Attila,
First, this is an amazing view on this landscape! This kind of light is rare!
Seeing your original RAW files, I think that on your post, the tree looks oversharpened and the colors oversaturated.
I propose you a WS. Don't mind!
Annie

hi attila
great lanscape image, amazing sky but the ghosting around the tree is being ruined,I think increasing the sky colours caused the ghosting,I would suggest to resave 2 files 1 with the tree cloned out and another without the sky, increase colours and combine both.
regards
jimmy

Hi Attila

I have to say, I prefer your raw, original WS version in most respects. The colours here are good but personally I don't like the sharpening effect around the tree, nor the titles in the frame - they distract from the image very much, in my opinion.

Just my thoughts. :) Composition is excellent, the placement of the tree and the placement of the horizon are good.

wow, four honest critiques, TL is back on the good way !
a agree about the oversharpening
beautiful POV and colors

Well my friend, what could I add here?...
For me, the sky is OK, the tree sucks and the ground area is fine as brightness but too colorful to buy it. I simply refuse to see that much color in those dark areas.
"If everything is colorful, nothing is"...remember that?
I have two questions:
1. Why the heck would you go overboard with sharpening when this is one of the most disliked "mistakes" in post-processing??
2. Which is the subject of the photo? The tree?...Hmm, I think it would look better just a simple black silhouette, from a lower point of view.
Keep on trying!:)
Nelu
