Another view of the Dome inside the Reichstag (seat of the German Parliament).

The dome is a metal and glass structure with a ramp that spirals up to a roof terrace with 360-degree views of central Berlin. The dome overlooks the chamber for the Bundestag and a central mirrored cone draws light into the plenary chamber.

"A dialogue between old and new" according to the architect, Norman Foster. Unlike the original dome (damaged in the war and demolished in the 50's), the new Dome is a public space.

The Reichstag is located on Platz der Republik, along the Spree River, just north of Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor). The nearest S-Bahn stops are Friedrichstrasse or Unter den Linden, and the U-Bahn stops at Friedrichstrasse.

nice other view from the Dome, always nice reflections. It looks like stairs to the future, to go to visit the aliens ;D

Breathless architecture, and made just for you, mirrorlover!
i love all this light blue tones graduated from white, clear. Graduation and reppetition of mirrors give so fantastic dynamism to the photo. Viewer can look very long time to this photo , to all details, people, poses.
I am amazed!

Ja ja ja, ist es großartig dieses "funnel", aber, weswegen es gibt genausoviel Spiegelungen.
Et moi suis-je dans ces reflets? Je connais quelqu'un qui a du s'amuser comme enfant avec tous ces jeux de miroirs de la 3D et si on regarde bien on serait peut-être bien en 4D holographique.
