The kerb
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a bit of an experiment with shapes and colours. It is also an attempt to illustrate to all those who watch motor racing on television, what those kerbs really look like. The Formula 1 cars go over these kerbs at more than 200 kmh. A normal car would jump into the ditch, I think - or the driver would have immediate kidney problems. I included the cap for a better idea of proportion - and it allows me to include the shot in my colour group theme.
The shot was not postprocessed - only resized. |

Excellent red white and blue picture. For that matter I think I would have cropped out the green. Excellent colors and details. Good shot.

Excellent - contraryto Richard (lacouette) i would have put more green and not the cap - but this is a question of compo and mood and you did it well. For me it looks like a 'natural' patchwork.

Dear Per, I really like the striking contrasting colours and as a F1 fan I have to say great idea :) There could have been lots of compos as said, but you did a good job with this one. Yours, Jan
The Farreri cap relates the setting of a racing track. Would it be possible to rotate the cap 90 degrees for a trial? Good composition and coloured blocks.
My son Zack has decided to be a desert racer....
