I didn't dare to put in the human element (hands). I made some pictures but was not satisfied with the result so I did this and played around in photoshop mainly working with colour adjustments and finally went through NI.

"Life is like a piano... what you get out of it depends on how you play it." Unfortunately I play since I'm six but I just guess I didn't practise enough (sigh)...

Yours, Jan

greetings kirsten

Hello pp lover, this is a shot where you spared the effects. Good note :-)
Very morbid thing came to my mind, but I have to tell: It would be so good if the crowd will clap their hands in the cemetery when I die. It means, I did it well...

Woody Allen (who else) said: I am not scared about death, I just don't want to be there, when it happens. ;o)

Good angle, interesting compo, it is like the view as a drunken pianist could see, when his/her head says to finger: let me do now.

A nice experiment, Jan, really shows the dof of your camera in that particular setting. Funny, the black keys look red, maybe they are. Anyway, I like the title very much.

Jan, I have a brother who plays the keyboard, and I've been trying to get a good picture of the keyboard for quite a long time.

On this piano, you did a good job. I like the point of view.

wah.. the DPF os really excellent, u did it with camera or photoshop? you got the middle parts of photos clear and the rest blurred..very very nice!

Hi Jan, This is a great shot of the piano keyboard. A difficult photo to take with all 88 of them looking at you! I feel this is a moody shot and like what you did in you post processing. Yes, I can hear the music....:O)
