First project with new compact camera.
I have to find solutions for wide-angle distortion (see the floorline) and low-light. Tripods are forbidden; I took my pictures laying the camera on the floor; next time I use a mini-tripod.

Hi Huub,
Dedication to the art of photography - laying on the floor - I'm assuming you had to be pretty low too. A nice museum shot, with your unique POV and composition. Nice mood, and if you hadn't mentioned the floor, it is hard to find. Nicely done and TFS,
Sam

love the 'simplicity' and minimalism of this image, quite asethic, thanx, Magda, (*_*)

100% you Huub Did you try the Pincushion Distortion* or Fisheye Distortion option in your program?
Groet
John

Hendrik

Lovely simple composition Huub, good note too.
Thanks for sharing.
Michael.

Nice composition, Huub! The low light on the walls creates a nice background to the vivid painting. Good eyes!

Emptiness with expression.

Wide angle distortion begins with 28 mm on small film. Most of the time you will see this on object fare a way from you. You talk about tilt and shift distortion. But PS CS2 can help you out afterwards
It is a photo with guts

Well seen Huub. Artork seems so impressive with your POV on plain walls with that distance. Good graphical lines and composition. Yes the wide angle distortion in compact cameras disturbs me a lot, i have same difficulty for some shots, my egg shot have same problem but here, yours is so tiny an not disturbs the eye.
I've seen Ninix ws an translate his comment but not sure how he fix this angle distortion, is it a filter in PS?
Elif

Simple in composition and idea, difficult in achievement, espaecially lying on the floor to take, well captured.
Excellent

Chris

Hi Huub, I love the symmetrical aspects and the minimalistic pov. The little distortion doesn't mind to me, is a part of 'photographic reality' and if stay ther is ok if you can eliminate the distorion, is ok too for me
José

Simple graphic picture...Excellent!
