I like this shot too. Ciao, Adele

Welcome to TL, BS. This is a nice starter, but alas a very difficult one for you and your camera... Backlight is never easy, but the idea to "hide" the sun behind the "Galanolefki" - the blue & white Greek flag - is very good; it filters the sunlight and at the same time renders a nice, pensive silhouette.
In general, I prefer a straight horizon. But in this case, because the scene is very tilted, I admit the tilt adds dynamism to the shot. Besides, we all know that it's taken on a boat and so these tilts are part of the "action"... Straightening this angle would mean losing a big part of the photo too, so I'll leave that "as is".
I'm gonna try to do something about the white balance though; the flag is not the real colour, in fact the white looks like mud colour... and Frieda, however good her intentions were, exxagerated that in her "workshop"...
Anyway, TFS.
BS, generally speaking on tl a note, even in Dutch, is very much appreciated. You can say something about the circumstances in which you made the shot, something about the persons, pets or scenery that you depicted...

Hi,

I like many of the ingredients in this image, like the silhouette, the flag with the sun behind it and the soft colors. I don't like half the pole falling out of the image, the tilted horizon I find a bit distracting and it would be nicer to see more of the face from the side against the highlights in the sea.

TFS,
Pedro
