A very good macro of that nice Mercedes symbol in a very unusual blue color for those cars. These symbols on the old Mercedes cars are not fixed to the hood and can be rotated so that they don't break easily
Did you know that the name of the wife of the company owner named the brand?

Symbol of power ? Symbol of expensive cars, you mean ;o). I think your composition is excellent, Μπάμπη, but I think there's a strange reflection on the left side: 5 parallel lines that run from the corner through the star. Any idea what it was ?

Nice maacro you framed it well, indeed it is one of the trademarks of power. In the united States I don't see this color very often on a Mercedes-Benz, we see a lot of silver and Black.

Hi Mpampis, very good macro with great clarity of this well known emblem. Softflower has a post today of the Mercedes Mclaren, a beautiful car...i told him this same thing. I know you will be surprised to know that there is a major Mercedes-Benz manufacturing plant right here in the State that I live in the USA... I watched it being built and have toured the magnificent plant and we are proud to have it in our state of Alabama. TFS

I always thought they had this on the hood for better aiming at pedestrians!

Btw, it was the daughter, not the wife, who gave her name for the car... check it out!
