[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
To take a coin's photo is not a simple job. You must have special equipment like a special tripod to keep camera horizontaly exactly above the coin, special lights and a camera with a macro capability of 5 cm and above.

As a coin and postcards collector, this is my first (and last?) coin photo without any special equipment except my "poor" Sony and a big ammount of patient!

Μπάμπη, I think a touch of horizontal light would have improved this shot even more: it would have created shadows below the letters, creating an effect of depth. I like the background you chose to illustrate that you are a collector... but as for the photo, I think it is a bit too distracting.
But you gave me an idea, I think I'll try it as well. TFS.
