Playing with Diffuse Glow...
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Ok, today something experimental from my side...
I decided to play with Diffuse Glow effect (almost) as described here from Zandra (zto) and this effect found a perfect application in this marvelous Zandra's photo.
My "victim" was the bust of Aristotle, who is standing outside the Mayor Mansion. I posted this photo to TrekEarth here...
PP Info:
~~~~~~~~~~
1) A more tight cropping was necessery
2) Make a copy of the main photo to a new layer
3) I applied a medium Diffuse Glow filter to the new layer, with 50% transparency
4) USM
5) Another dose of Diffuse Glow with a bit more increase of the options
6) Used Burn Tool to give more "dark light" in bust's details (head, chest, pallium)
7) Another USM (medium options)
8) Frammed
Hope to like you...
I would like to thank you Zandra for this technique. Zandra you are the best! Kisses! |
A lot of PP work, Babi, but the effect is beautiful. I even like it better than the original on TE. Thanks for the exhaustive explanation, I think I'll give it a try sometimes. TFS.
Thank YOU Mpampis, for letting me inspire you to experiment and make new things...and also for your kind note. You did great. I just love Diffuse glow and it works really good here. You did great. Thanks for sharing Mpampis.
Kisses
It's always good to experiment, and I like what you have achieved here. The bust was an excellent subject to work on. Nice job.
Ωραίο το νέο εφφέ! Του δίνει μια άλλη ζωντάνια και ομορφιά!
Πολύ καλή και ζυγισμένη φωτογραφία του μπούστου του Αριστοτέλη. Η επεξεργασία με το Diffuse Glow νομίζω ότι της ταιριάζει απόλυτα.
