A nice idea to partially desaturate the shot to make the rose stand out like this. There are some elements though that really could do with looking at -
* The PP work hasn't been entirely faultless, as there are small areas at the bottom of the flower which should be red but are grey.
*I'd also suggest that the flower at the bottom of the frame should be grey as well - its a little distracting.
* The flower is very central in the frame - a different crop to make a more interesting composition could be good
* The red is a little muted - increasing saturation would help
And such a pity that there's no photographers note to accompany the picture, at the very least to explain your workflow for the PP work.
