Every year by the end of April Judas trees blossom...
The color of its blossoms gives it a charming beauty.
It's also a very interesting tree that its flowers do not blossom only on the branches but also covers the whole trunk.
I had read somewhere the story which gives the tree this name. The story said that Judas had hung himself from this tree just after betraying Jesus Christ, and by the shame he had, the color of the blossoms had turned to purple which were -as the story says- originally white.

I like the contrast in colours and textures between the flowers and the bark. Colours could be a little more saturated perhaps but still a nice picture.
