The Old Town of Chania #2
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi TL friends, this is a new posting from my recent visit in Chania.
The evening of Friday 29th of September, was hot and humid, however pleasant. The moon made its presence perceptible and kept company to me. That was the reason that I thought it should be convenient for a walk in the city and reception of photographs.
Hanging around in the Old town of Chania, I was led to Fortress of Venecian harbour. The view is wonderful from that tall point.
I tried to use a tripod, unfortunately no suitable for my rich camera. Although, I tried to give you a sample of that nightly beauty.
Have a good weekend all of you.

Hi Ioannis,
This is a very nice night photo but may be just a little bit too much light since the white are harsh on the shore line. Otherwise an excellent composition with the moon and this cloud on the top. TFS

Kalinichta Ioannis ! Back from Spain and telling you this shot touched me ..I was in Chania too years ago on an island tour! I loved this place...I stayed than in Chersonisos and also went to Agios Nicolaos .. and Elounda (*Who pays the Ferry man* TV series) But most of all I was impressed by the work of Prof Evans and his work/digging in Knossos. So Ioannis .. again.. a pleasure to see this nice photo. Efcharistoh
