Hello Phil
You are right... it is so easy to replace old buildings by ugly concrete monsters!

On this photo, I would have crop a bit on the left hand side to make sure that the symetry is perfect and I would have played a bit with photoshop on the brightness of this photo wich is a bit washed out in my point of view.

I love these Balcons, you have seen them very very good and I like your composition-frame very much.
I would preffer the photo with less exposure, it has details they are a litlle overexposed.
