Monastery of Eleftherotria, inner court.
Just outside of Macherado you'll find the monastery/convent of Eleftherotria. It was stablished at 1962 by the spiritual father, the Archimandrite Chrysostomos Gelbesis.
The monastery/convent has a beautiful panoramic view of the village Lagopodo.
In the convent there are 17 Nuns led by the Abbess Magdalene Bakea. |
