[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Our beloved dog died today of a stroke. Today she was acting like usual:running and playing with the other dogs, sitting next to us etc. We were in the kitchen playing cards with my mom and then she threw up. We saw that she was doing really really bad so we decided to take her to the vet but she could barely walk and when she did it was like she was drunk.
We got her to the vet and he took her temperature, see if her reflexes work and he gave her 2 shots. He told us that she had suffered a stroke and I know that he knew that she wouldn't survive but he told us that she would recover. I knew from her breathing that she would die right then and there and my mom knew it as well when she touched her paws(which were cold and I think the rigor mortis started to work).

She died at the table but at least we were next to her talking to her telling her to go to her parents and kids in heaven because she would be happy with them.

The 5 other dogs that we have felt what was going on so when we were putting her in the car they started crying like wolves do. When we came back they did the same thing(they often do it but not more than once per a few days and tonight they did it around 5 times)...
One of the dogs isn't doing that well either psychologically because he lost his buddy.

I think that dogs and generally animals can understand very well what is going on although some humans think they don't know sh*t but they're wrong.

Tommorow we're going to bury her next to our cat Feigh and the 4 puppies that didn't make it.

Biography: In 16 days she would have her birthday. She would turn 10 years old. It's amazing how nature works. I wish we could have her till she reached a very old age but that didn't work....Sathya was born in Athens in 97 and moved with us to Belgium and then in 2005 back to Greece. She gave birth to 6 puppies of which only 2 survived.
