Another great winter shot with even better composition! Too bad it's not that sharp, but the silhouettes are still very nice. Sparkling water and the diagonal line it produces is nice compositional detail here.
Great series, thanks for sharing your (very) early work with us here. It is always nice to see other members developmental process, it's usually very encouraging.

From nice and sunny photos of Greece to the frozen lake of Greece...you capture them all superbly. Back light works well on the birds. Love the mood created.

I still have difficulty to believe this is Greece. In my mind I see blue water, sunshine and beaches. Again you took some very dull and subdued colours and made an incredible, stunning photo from it. The right light, composition and the fascinating texture of the water.

Interesting picture,Vassilis! Too bad though that one of the birds has its face stiked on the stick! The composition and the light are very nice! And I noticed also that there is one very adventurous bird in the middle of the lake,Maybe his name is Jonathan L ! Michel

would never have guessed this was in Greece, normally you don't make that association. Why should an image not be good anymore because of it's age? Once a good photo always, a good photo, (*_*)

Very nice scene Vassilis. We do see it ratehr often in Sweden, those adventurous birds walking and swimming in frozen waters :0))

Beautiful Vassilis. There are only very small creeks in Tasmania which will freeze over in winter. Ponds and lakes may get a slight crust of ice but nothing like this. Lovely tones of blue, well composed and nice silhouettes of the birds. TFS,
