great concept, funny :)
i have my doubts about this sepia but i cant imagine it either as in color

Hello Przemek,
A funny, engaging and admireable composition. The sharp preying mantis overlooking the walking children made me think that this could very well be a poster for a sci-fi movie. The sepia treatment is effective in rendering a favorable impression. Best regards.
Danilo

Hi Przemek,

Very creative concept that you've executed well. This takes me back many years to when I was a young child and my parents took me to the ocean for a weekend. The beach was overrun by swarms of large grasshoppers and I was terrified. Very sharp and the DOF is perfect to nicely blur his victims below. The sepia treatment works well too, TFS.

Regards,
Werner

Czesc Przemek.
Swietna kompozycja i moze wygladac przerazajaco jesli ta modliszka faktycznie polowala na ludzi.
Piekne pokazales skale owada vs ludzie na plazy.
Pozdrawiam.

Very funny photo. a note would have helped. Was this an accidental capture or planned? Whatever it was, great idea.

Hi Przemek ,
Could be a scene from a horror movie , he he , like the monster mantis ravaging the town. I like the concept and view or perhaps you skillfully PPed to make it as it really could happen , if not then you were in luck that day to spot the insect there on that object with its head turned towards the passers-by , a fortunate event !
I am not so sure about the sepia though , some sharpening is in order well on the mantis only ,contrast would add drama to make it scarier for the rest looks very real ! Interesting shot i reckon !
TFS ,
Carol
