Nice evening composition with those brilliant reflections on the surface. A bit more sharpening might have bettered it

These scenes are always difficult. If you expose for the lights, everything else is dark; if you expose for the environment, you get huge overexposed lights that cover a large area around them

I think the best thing to do would be to select your timing - prefer the dusk
