Hey Alin,

This shot has loads of potential and you have come pretty close to realizing it, but there are a couple ideas I have that may have helped it.

I do love the pattern of the columns, but personally feel that you may have taken the wrong angle on them. I would have moved a little over to the left to get them slightly more head-on, but still at a slight angle. I would have also gotten closer to try to isolate one or two columns and let the rest go softly out of focus.

I also think that you would have been well served to wait a couple more hours. The lighting in here is a bit harsh for my taste. Waiting until closer to sunset would have given you some wonderfully warm, directional, side-lighting that would have brought out the texture of the stonework.

These are my opinions and I hope you take them for what they are worth.

Good work and great eye for patterns. If you get a chance, I definitely think this might be worth a second try.
