The way up to the entrance of an old fortress located next to a small village named Asklipios. This is in the middle of the Island of Rhodes. Mostly ruined but with a great view.

You managed to create a excellent compo Vassilis, the road leading to the stairs and the pov here ..could be in a magazine ..very good work !!

Hi Vassilis,
this is romantic - like a door to a big tower of "Rapunzel" - it's a fairy tail of a girl sitting in a tower and waiting for her prince.
Perhaps you know it?!?
When I saw your shot, I remembered this story.
Excellent, I like it, bye
Sabine - wishnugaruda

Great shot Vassilis, nice colours, contrast and composition.
Thanks for sharing.
Michael.

Nice to see you back Vassilis, nicely exposed picture with great detail in both the shadows and highlights. Nice use of portrait mode too. Like the way the path and stairs lead the eye into the shot.

Peter

Defenitely the setting for a fairytale or maybe some action from Lord of the Rings.
Good composition, textures and colour.

The shadows in combination with the path are very nice.
Good balance in light and shadow. The vanishing point (the door is a little low)
Maybe if you cut of the top it become stronger.
But I am not sure
Ruud

Hello my friend, back again with some old shots, huh? :)
This is a very nice work, classic Vassilis with nice blue Mediterranian sky and rocks. Details are sharp and composition is accurate, as always.
Good work, nice to see you again my friend, regards!
Robert

Wonderful composition and colors. TFS,
Fran

Beautiful photo Vassilis. Wonderful values in the shadows and highlights. Nice composition too.

Good one Vassilis. Looks like a favourite haunt of ghosts and monsters! I like the tight crop.

Nice and sharp image,Vassilis! Interesting composition! I like very much the texture and beleive it or not,my eyes were attracted immediatly by that piece of metal (I think it is some kind of metal,I might be wrong) right in the middle of the picture on the right side! Because that texture is so different compare to the rocks! Very interesting! Michel

I like the picture,
beautiful woman in the composition, colors
and contrast. Beautiful light here.
Congratulations Vassilis, a great work!

Sérgio

Another fine composition with a great POV.
Good shadow play and a nice strong blue sky. Razor sharp detail.
Well done :)

Hi Vassilis,
I love this POV where you get the framing on the left hand side! Stairs are always fascinating, here I get a really old one taking me to the doorway in the tower... Wonder what's inside?? Very good colours and textures in a pleasing composition, well done!
Regards,
Pablo -

There are a couple of ruins like this one, castles from the Templar Knights, on Rhodes.. Nice capture with a great PoV, Βασίλη. I hope you took a close-up of that wooden/iron door of which we can see only a glimpse here ;o).
TFS.

Wonderful shot Vassilis. Well composed using the structure almost as a frame to lead to the delightful view. Good strong, natural colours. TFS
David

Hi Vassilis

I like the dimishing linear perspective & vanishing point of the stairs. Fantastic graphsim, & excellent sharpness & color. Tfs!

Hi Vassilis,
Great composition and POV, with clarity and sharpness. Very nicely done. So who built it and why ? It seems to have a rough 10th century look about it, as opposed to artisitic Greek style. TFS,
Sam

excellent colors and details Vassilis :)
very sharp and nice POV

Great shot Vassilis

I like the angle... It show the detail a lot and i like the oenning in the left wall who show how high is the place!

Hi Vassilis,
Great shot, i love it, could be a scene from a movie where we could see the hero going to save the princess :)
Great composition, colors and pov. you did a excellant job on this photo.

Hello Vassilis,
A spectacular shot . . . I would expect something like this to be featured in a guide book. You can't walk by this; you have to go and explore!
Excellent sharpness, colors, and contrast.
The best,
Karen
