this is the moon rising over the immense cliffs of santorni...
santorini is well known of her sunsets, beaches and the little white houses which are built on these cliffs which are called "kalderes"...
i captured these cliffs but in a most unusuall hour than the sunset.. the hour of the moon rising over the low hills of the island covering it with its light almost as bright as the sun would!

Hello Costantinos,
wonderful landscape but above all you captured a special light: this diffused blue-violet, the reflection of the moon, the white houses with their spot of nocturnal lamps....Like a dream.
The cliffs are colled "kalderes" because Santorini is so formed after the explosion of a volcano around 1,600 AC, so the isle is surrounding a big "hole", but the activity of the volcano is presently continuing undersea.... The history of ancient Thera is one of my interest.

I have seen daylight scene of this place and this maybe the first photo I see of the moon light version and I like it.

I would like to know the photo info on settings and it must be long exposure for this blue hour.
