[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken in Santorini this past May vacation.
From Wikipedia:
"Santorini is essentially what remains of an enormous volcanic explosion, destroying the earliest settlements on what was formerly a single island, and leading to the creation of the current geological caldera."
While there are other things to see and photograph in the village I was struck here by the shadows and shapes and color.
Shot in RAW, cropped off the right side a bit, some levels adjusted to balance some of the hot whites and USM for dynamic range. Converted to jpeg.

Hi Wilt...great shot..nicely composed..nice details and contrast....

Roger

Hello Wilt,

This is an articulated scene with a deep artistic sense. The lovely composition, the great blue and white, the wonderful details, the placement of the object, the contrast between light and shade.. Everything is so beautiful ! I really appreciate your well composed shot.

Many thanks for sharing and greetings,
Eungbong
