The Acheron river from its sources up to its estuary, creates along its path an alternation of landscapes with a particular ecological and natural interest
Its estuary and its straits create an important ecological system which is among the natural areas protected by the network. The river is navigable from its mouth (Ammoudia), up to Messopotamo the Necromancy oracle (see yesterdays photo)

The spring
A group of mountains is collecting the rain. Inside the mountain is a basin that comes under pressure. Massive amounts of real cool water 10 or 12 degree springs up out the ground and creates a river at once. The water is cool and creates kind of mist (haze) above the stream.

Hoi Ruud,
Weer een erg mooi stukje Griekenland zoals ik het nog nooit gezien heb. De kleuren zijn prchtig en erg mooi dat je nog een beetje mist op het water ziet. Je framing met de bomen is gewoon perfect. Heb je ook nog een foto gemaakt met een lager POV? Ik ben benieuwd of je de mist dan nog beter ziet.

Ik dacht toch echt hier al geschreven te hebben, maar het staat er niet! Enfin.
Een zichthoek van recht naar beneden tot recht vooruit; een soort panorama op zijn kant. Kan eigenlijk alleen als je ergens op staat zoals een brug. Mooi is hier de positie in de schaduw richting een lichte plek; er zou eigenlijk nog een dame moeten zitten baden aldaar. Me Tarzan, you Jane; zoiets......
