For someone not used to shooting flowers, this is first class work. I like the tight close up and the black frame. Would make a great Anniversary card for your wife.
Can you tell me what 'centre spot filter' is. I'd like to learn.

Wow Constantinos, you are getting better with every shot! This is excellent all the way around. The soft delicate colors and gentle curves of the petals lead the eye into discovery. This is a favorite! B

Hello Constantinos !

Flowers are always great subjects to photograph. You did very well here. In fact , I was hypnotised by the center , and it started to look like a endless but colorfull tunnel.... A very inviting tunnel for a journey in fantasy land.

The rose stand for femininity we can tell that by the form. There are a lot of natural thing that go together like a walnut and brains. There is a complete study on uniformly and how we handle that.

Nicely composed macro, Constantinos, with great light and nice treatment to make it very soft & tender. I might have cropped even tighter to delete the black spot in the top left corner to keep only the red/yellow colours. Otherwise, it is a very nice picture. Well done!

Simply stunning.
The detail of the central part of the rose is superb. You have an very good eye, all your folio is superb, this is no exeption. Most would try and capture all the rose in the frame, you have concentrated on the heart of the flower, which I.M.H.O is simply stunning.

Wonderfully exposed with great 'texture' created by the individual petals. I love the nice warm colours in the image and the shapes. Firm in the centre and then gradually getting bigger to the outside - beautiful work. Wish I could give you more than 2 points for this one. TFS.
