Original photo taken of the huge statue of Alexander the Great on the waterfront in Thessaloniki.
Thessaloniki was founded about 315 B.C., on a site of old prehistoric settlements going back to 2300 B.C., by Cassander, King of Macedonia, and was named after his wife, Thessaloniki, sister of Alexander The Great.

Hello Nic, hello neighbour,
A wonderful statue with reflection ofa wonderful Macedonian King Alexander (iskender in Turkish)...
There is a city in Turkey, near Cyprus and Syria, by east Mediterrian, named Iskederun (its name comes from Aleksander-iskender)...

This is very good, you have a statu of a Giant King who is not from Greece..
