[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the most eye catching graffiti work in Pelekas Corfu. It was done on walls that are about 1200 m long on the raod to this village during the 2nd annual Graffiti Festival.
The artwork is brilliant and really brings energy and life to the area which is right by my house on the island. I included my cousin in this shot to really show the size of the wall. I meant to photograph the graffiti all summer long but kept procrastinating till the end, anyhow when I finally did it was the middle of the afternoon veryy hot and there was plenty of traffic as scooters were constantly passing by, somehow I managed! Although I wasn't present for this event, I sure heard alot about it and hopefully will make it for the third one next summer... =)
Some more info about the festival:
"From June 30 th to July 4 th , more than 170 participants, writers, musicians, DJs, dancers and jugglers from Greece and abroad, flocked in the village of Pelekas , for the 2 nd Pelekas Graffiti and Music Festival. Thanks to the kind support of Pelekas Cultural Society, the Parelia Municipality, the Greek Radio and the Ionian Island District, the 5-day summer event managed to provide free access to the public and gained national and international coverage."

Wow, I didn't even know graffiti like this existed! The graffiti in the United States is very different. I love how huge it is, the colors are nice, and I like the inclusion of your cousin for scale as well as the painted woman on the right side. Thanks for sharing!

This graffiti is a truly masterpice. At first I did not enjoy the presence of a the girl on the picture, but right after I've realized, that without her we would never be able to understand how big this masterpice is. Congratulations on your work.
