[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Not singing in the rain.
There is a story behind this shot and title.We weren't singing in the rain... My husband and I were sheltering from the heavy rain (a real downpour)in a bar on Chania harbourside.A few minutes before this I had fallen heavily and hit my face on a pavement.Some Greek people were very helpful and ran to get me a cloth to bathe my face and some ice cubes to reduce the swelling. I think my husband was more shocked than myself and so we were making our way back to our hotel room to recover. However, the heavy rain forced us to take shelter. He was concerned that my face was bruising and a little bloody. I was okay really and soon got my camera into action, trying to "catch" people as they hurried past the bar front.
Later in the day he said that he had thought it "quite charming" that I was still photographing despite everything.Now isn't that nice?

What a tragic story - I hope you are ok now. This looks like the weather here lately and I'm not singing either. Nice atmosphere captured here

For a lady with a cracked head you took a great shot here Bev, there's so much going on - the people, the reflective wet path, the clouds, the waves - great stuff.
It is a sign of a true photographer that shutter release comes before pain (you can always dull the latter with sangria!).
Hate me if you want but this pic inspired a rare Blzbub workshop, I hope you don't mind,
