[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007 for all the TL members out there! :)

I want to open the new year with a nice macro shot from a lemon tree flower.

As you know, the lemon it's a fruit (yes, it's a fruit!) very usefull for us. I have the pleasure to have two lemon trees into my small garden and I love this tree!

Especially, it's flowers have a very fine place in Greek culture. They symbolise the hapiness of the people and it's very common, the brides in Greece to have lemon flowers on their heads when they married! :)

So, with this lemon tree flower I want to express my feelings for the new year: to have hapiness, health and peace all over the world!

Πολλή καλή μακροφωτογραφία, με καλή λεπτομέρεια και πολύ καλό Β.Π. Τα χρώματα είναι φυσικά, παρ' όλον ότι έγινε χρήση φλας.
Τα άνθη λεμονιάς είναι πάντα όμορφα!

Your shot reminded of song from my early youth:

Lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flower is sweet
But the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat.


Of course, it is possible to eat lemons - and it's very helthy.
