[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The first stop on our trip on the east coast of Rodos was at the workshop of a potter. Genuine imitation antique Greek pottery is produced here :)
Getting a bit more serious, the intention is to produce replicas of pieces found in museums for tourists. Depending on the quality of the replica goes the price, so these artists produce for a wide spectrum of budgets.
I do admire a lot the skill of these workers, something that becomes quite rare in our modern world.

Very interesting documentary portrait, such point of view appeals to me.

Good interesting shot. Neat to see a craftsman at work. I'm posting a workshop on some corrections I thought this needed.

Good rendition of his skill! You caught very well his focus on the work and hands position.

Hello Tibi,
like you, I admire men who take a simple clay ball and which thanks to their talent, their long experiment succeed in giving life to works of such a quality. It's magic.
but to certainly ask years and years for this result.
I like well that the raw material sees it on the man and all around him like one second skin. And one sees the pleasure which it has to make his work. One too often forgets who are manual people.
