Dragon Arum
Dracunculus vulgaris
Araceae...The Arum family.
Arum derives from Greek word for Aroma...due to their rank smell that attracts insect pollinators.
Height often more than 1 metre. Spathe ( on inside) and spadix purple. Rank odour that attracts flies for pollination. Found in communities at roadsides and in fields.
