[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I continue to post the Rodian pictures, our next stop will be Lindos. I played a little chronological trick here as this picture was actually taken on the way back but it offers the best overview of the complex amalgam of white-washed village houses, byzantine churches, crusader castle and ancient acropolis that is Lindos. It is one of those rare places (like Jerusalem or Rome) where history leaves it's relics in an accumulating fashion, each epoch building on the remains of the preceding ones without completely wiping out it's traces.
