Treklens..Realy! As seen on Santorini

Walking the nice little shopping streets of Santorini,
one of the Vendors/Shop keepers had the idea to place
a few Fashion dolls 'on the edge'

I quicly went up for a higher level .. to be able to shoot more 'down' and here we are..

Thanks for your time Folks

Hi John
I think I was there as well, nice shot, and I know why you aren’t mentioning the Norwegian Jewel, but I can tell you it is the white one – not the black one.
Nice colors, great sharpness, well done my friend. Have a nice weekend in Canada.
Jens.

Hi John,
Great pov...I'm sure Yolanda got one of each! Perhaps in all colors, lol! Very colorful and well seen, thanks for sharing,
Fran

Looking at the thumbnail, I thought you had started cloning!
Spectacular view and great find!
You seem to prefer dizzying heights, just like Sir Alma Tadema here in one of his greek scenes.
Cheers
Otto

Very interesting shot dear friend!Nice places!
Pozdrav!

Good morning John ;)
great idea...nice composition and feelings...TFS

Hi John,

That is an interesting composition you got there! Oh, how eighties those dolls!! I'm a bit looking at the land on the top of the picture and I'm slightly wondering what happened there... Looks a bit odd... But overall a nice compo made here with the two big cruise ships in the back!

Plans to Indonesia? Let me know as well!

Greetings from Sumatra,
Dennis

Great shoot.
Good composito, color, pov ...

Remi.

Hi John,
I don't suspect you used trucage here - I can really believe they do it like this. It makes a funny contrast with the cruise ships and by making your POV even higher you have created a fun picture. What I did suspect by looking at the thumbnail was that you did convince 3 ladies to pose for you....

Good morning Mr T

great shot here, really brought a smile to my face this morning. Nice notes too :-)

TFS regards Helen

Hi John,
new modern version of Venus de Milo ;-). I'm not certain that one will expose them to the museum of the Louvre but here on TL, they have their hour of glory thanks to your nice shot. Damage, they seem not to realize of the beauty of the landscape in background. But business is business.

What a 'Juwels'.!!!
Which one is yours and which one is Jens?
If you have one spare, I prefer the middle one, she looks the most 'Norke'. haha

Hi John,
They are the sirens of modern times. They awaited Ulysses or Tulip? Make attention!
The islands on the top of image could become a misleading refuge! With the glare and the brightness of the colors, you could easily to be blind and to fall into their traps. The boats are only mirages! :)
Beautiful and interesting image! Bravo! Annie

:)Voilà!

Een zeer merkwaardig effect, John ! Drie tijdperken bij elkaar: oeroud land, moderne(re) schepen en dames uit het jaar x.
Goed gezien en goed vastgelegd.
groet,
Joop!

Hi John,

You have captured a marvellous moment Sir. The cool occeanic mood in the background is fantastic along with charming dummies in focus. A beautiful take which is rightly suitable with holiday season, well done.

Thanks for sharing this image.

Apparently even the plastic peaple want to visit the place... Funny to imagine that kind of new tourism... It give a curious effect that mix. It please me!

Great colors and lighting. Fantastic scene.

Merhaba John.

He John,

Mooie originele prent. Leuke bootjes.
Het zijnwel meisjes van "handjes thuis houden" daar in Griekenland.

Szervusz John,
Hah, are these plastic dolls stand by You there? :) (Of course I read the note, but it seemed like this). Great idea. Anything new about the photo which isn't already written? DOF is so perfect that I should die for seeing the image as a 3D anaglyphe... Although the ships moved, so it could have been impossible. On a Hungarian forum I've read about a technique, how to duplicate the photo in order to reach ana effect if doing the 2 parts is impossible due to a moving object, but I never tried that (I prefer the "traditional" anaglyphe photography). This image should worth a try, however. Congrats.

Hi John,
funny shot with those silent beauties.
Nice composition, the view from this hilltop is fabulous.
Well done.
Sky

This is just a great shot, love the "weirdness" of it... placing mannekins on the edge there...blocking the view of the ships! HAHAHA! I would be tempted to PUSH! Nice colors!
Linda
B-)
