[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Back in Greece, the Island Mykanos.
This was the very first photo made on Mykanos, it was taken while we were waking from the Cruiser to the City off Mykanos.
The photo is cropped a little bit, and framed no more changes is made.
Thanks for looking.

merhaba dear jens
beautiful white houses and reflections.beautiful interesting rock.
well done.best regards.
gürkan akçakır.

I like the crop and the inclusion of the city on the background. The rock itself is very attractive a a subject but the city add a special touch to indicate that this place is perhaps a favourite spot. Good colours and reflections on the water. Light works well to balance the image. Thanks Jens.

Very nice contrast; Dark rock - light buildings, current resting place - ancient resting place, floating boats - anchored rock. Plus great depth, rock in forground - rock (same color hill) in background - bright buildings between. Also like the detail in both water and boats. All over, a really good image.

Hi Jens,
Very enjoyable to see - I see those rounded roofs on the curches are both in red and blue. When I visited Greece I only did see the blue ones. Clearly see the pebbles in the water - all very wonderful.

Hi Jens,

Is there any regulation to paint the house in white? . . ha ha ha . . Well structured city facing to the sea. You did great capturing the ambient with rock as FG.

Tfs,

Hello Jens.
Good looking picture over the habour. Must say the style of the houses are not very ellecant, same as on the cost of Turkey, square and flat.
Greetings, from Jan

An ever so slight tilt Jens but a lovely image. Superb detail on the rock and good over all colour. TFS,
David

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Dunsborough Beach I’

Hi Jens,

Hi Jens,
Nice vivid view of Mikanos, those white buildings are always looking great. The rock in the sea is a nice subject, sharpness is superb. Although I think the overall picture is a bit flat regarding the colours. Made a WS to show the difference. Nevertheless an excellent picture which makes me longing to the gReek sun!

Reality rules for me Jens. Thats why I like this photo.
And next time you bring, since you live in Copenhagen, a twin Sister waternymph for this rock ok ? :-)

I really love the contrasts in this: the ancient rock against the modern backdrop, the textures (jagged against smooth) the colours (rich stone against stark white). Well- seen and well-composed

Hi Jens,

it's very clever shot. I like the way you filled the fg with this alone rock, leaving enough water above to get reflections of the distant buildings. Excellent textures and details on the rock stay in good contrast with just "sketchy" presentation of the bg buildings. This applies also to colours difference. I like this work! tfs
