Hi TL friends.
Today Venetikos river
River Venetikos, a tributary of River Aliakmonas, rises from Mt Vasilitsa, while its geographical location is quite important, as revealed by its history. This is where the Roman "Royal Walk" crossed through, while up until the beginning of the last century it was the main trade route connecting Ipirus to Macedonia. The historical stone bridges all along the river, as well as the beautiful tracks it offers, since it flows through locations of incomparable natural beauty, make River Venetikos an ideal destination for alternative tourist activities, including rafting and kayaking. Extreme sports fans can choose one of the two tracks: an easier one, around its lower section, before it flows into Aliakmonas, and a more difficult one, for the more experienced, along its upper section. The first one is probably the most picturesque track one can hike on. It begins from Monachitio Bridge and crosses the rich valley, before ending at Spanos Bridge. While en route, visitors come across four stone bridges, built around the era of the Turkish rule. The second track is quite impressive, with interesting rock formations, similar to those in Meteora, while it is ideal for rafting. The area’s ecosystem includes a large variety of birds, such as cormorants, black storks and marabous. Travel agents located in the town of Grevena organize excursions to the river, as well as a multitude of activities.

Hi Yannis,
What an attractive place to be, and ofcourse to make fine pictures like this one. Superb colours of the river the rocks and trees on the slope. The clouds looks a bit blurred for me. Nevertheless a magnificent panorama my friend.
