How many more decades will need this land to recover after the fires that burned it sometime in the eighties ? ...
hmmm, it seems that the fires in Greece have a long history.

take care of our planet,
v
ps.Desaturate, resize, sharpen, upload
pps. This place was supposed to be the largest real estate development in Sithonia in the eighties(these are the streets built at thet time) but ... there was a fire ... Now is a heaven for bikers ...

Hi Vlad,

Very sad to see this land becomes an empty space . . Yes, we should take care our world . .
Very well captured and composed . .
It should be a lovely place I believe . .
Well presented . .

Tfs,
Tjutjut

Hi Vlad.
Yes,it was very sad to see the recent fires in Greece.
Your desaturation of colour really emphasises the bleakness of the ravaged landscape. A nice touch.
I hope the land soon recovers, although it is very dry there.
(Here on the west coast of NZ the bush would be replaced in 2 or 3 years)

Cheers,
Steve

The devastation here is very clear to see! A powerful posting that is heart-rending! The desaturation really adds to the feeling of devastation
Well done

Impresionanta nota, imaginea arata de la sine dezastrul. Din pacate am vazut si eu urmarile incendiilor de anul trecut in Halkidiki si in Tartra in Slovacia...
Un we fain de tot! Bucurati-va de caldura, ca io-s invidioasa :)

Hi Vlad, it would seem as though the vegetation in Europe takes a fair bit longer to rejuvenate, as Steve mentions down our way it would be green again within a year or so. Excellent POV showing the complete devastation and the colours amplify the effect. TFS,
David

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Old and Grey’

It's very impressive how you captured all those roads in the development that came to a full stop by fires already a long time ago.
If there is no rain enough it will take a long time to recover. Then a moody sky to give a sense of "doom and gloom".
Impressive Vlad and TFS

ciao Poz.. i know this look means something sad.. but to me.. it remembers so much an electrical track of "polistil" (something like hotwells, toys) do u know it? ;)

Hi Vlad
very speciality picture. Good comp and nice light.
Gr Jos

It's special! Many roads, were are they go exactly... We don't see it clearly even if the photo is taken well :)
No home... Roads without cars Stop! What is that? Yes there is... But small like that... It's a house!
So a fire can ruin a dream that's true!
The place is nice of view... And how rich are the the clouds!

Hello Vlad,

Beautiful visual, wonderful scenery I still think to be untouchable for the man!
I see a great devastation, but I think it is part of this wonderful scenery.
Great capture!
Congratulations

Salut, Vlad!
Though it is burned, it doesn't look ugly. On the contrary - it looks great - a panoramic view with dramatic sky and multiple roads...
Noapte buna!
toate ce le bune!
