In the summer i finally had a chance to visit Athens for 2 days - and take about 1200 photos.

this is from the hourly changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
on the place in front of the parliament building at the syntagma-square.

the ceremonial regiment in charge is called evzones.

these are the 2 "fresh" soldiers accompanied by a third one on their way to the Tomb.
